"Tanger M" is an artistic ode, created by Mathilde Fdlp, to a city that profoundly touched her heart and nourished her soul. During a stay in Tangier with her partner, Mathilde drew inspiration from the suspended moments spent at Café Baba, a legendary spot known for hosting poets, artists, and dreamers. Between mint tea, swirling smoke, and intimate conversations, she captured this bubble of love and serenity in a vibrant piece of art.

The painting bursts with color, contrasting with the white walls of the city, to reflect the harmonious chaos of Tangier’s winding streets. The sky, filled with luminous bubbles and imagined constellations, blends seamlessly into the cityscape, creating a poetic fusion between the night and the architecture. Within these bubbles, the silhouette of a mystical woman emerges—a benevolent guardian watching over Tangier, bringing it prosperity and life.
